Terms Of Trading


If you would like to return a product purchased from Alpha Packaging please contact us directly on 01235 511500 to discuss either a replacement or a full refund. Before a full refund can be acknowledged you must agree to the below points:
  • Customers have the right to return their products or request a full refund any time up to 7 working days from the day of delivery, on receipt of delivery note. 
  • Goods must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging. Goods must be unused and unopened.
  • Goods need to be returned at your own cost, unused and undamaged with their original packaging.
  • The customer still has a duty of care whilst the goods are in their possession and are the customer’s responsibility until they reach the Alpha Packaging premises.
  • If we suspect that the goods have been used or any of the above conditions have not been met we reserve the right to refuse a refund. All goods that are not returned in their original packaging are non refundable and cannot be exchanged.
  • All goods must be returned in full pack quantities we cannot refund or exchange any goods that are returned with missing goods.
  • On the conditions that all the above points have been met and your return has been received and inspected by our warehouse staff (usually within 72 hours of receipt), a replacement will be sent out at the next available date or a refund will be organised (excluding postage and packaging, although this will be refunded if the error has been made by Alpha Packaging).
  • Orders for Goods which have to be manufactured specifically for the Buyer will be charged in full unless written notice of cancellation is received not later than 2 weeks before the expected delivery date quoted in the Seller’s or its supplier's order, provided manufacture of them or any components for them has not commenced at the date of that notice.


The majority of our orders are normally sent using our courier service (City Link). Some local orders may be delivered using our own delivery fleet and in certain circumstances we will also use a palletised delivery service (Pallet-Track) depending on the size and weight of the products that you order (if goods are sent by pallet). We also now send many of our smaller orders where possible by Royal Mail either first or second class.

We currently are only able to deliver to UK mainland, although we are still able to supply to other destinations but this will need to done on a quote basis, please contact us on 01235 511500 or info@alphapackaging.co.uk alternatively fill out our bespoke order form and this can be arranged for you.

Standard delivery means that goods will be despatched within 24 hours if in stock item although we sometimes have to wait on weekly deliveries from our factories. If you are not able to accept delivery within the time frame given to the address specified, please call or email us to arrange an alternative delivery schedule. Any orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday and be treated as if they were placed on the Monday before 12 noon.

All NEXT DAY delivery items need to be ordered before 12 noon to allow time for our warehouse team to pick and pack your item, any items ordered after 12 noon will be dispatched the following day.

A signature will be required on delivery without exception. Please do not leave any notes or messages outside your door as the courier will disregard this.

For missed courier deliveries, you may be left a card informing you of an attempted delivery. You will need to arrange a collection from their depot, although the courier may also at their discretion re-deliver free of charge. Please be aware that they are within their rights to charge for a re-delivery (this varies from area to area). It is our advice to call the courier as soon after the missed delivery as possible.

You can also collect your goods from the courier’s depot following a missed delivery free of charge.

If goods are returned to Alpha Packaging due to an incorrect, incomplete address or after 3 failed attempts to deliver, the carriage is non refundable and an extra charge will also be applicable.

Order Shortages

Your order may be delayed if:

There are any unforeseen stock shortages. You will be notified by e-mail or telephone if this is the case and your order will be despatched as soon as possible. If you are unable to wait we are able to cancel your order and offer a full refund.

Damaged Goods

When your delivery arrives please check it carefully, make sure it hasn't been opened or tampered with. Once you have signed for the package or packages the goods are deemed as delivered. If you do however notice that any of the goods are damaged or faulty in any way please contact us immediately.

Non Delivery or Shortages

Whilst we make every effort to deliver within the estimated delivery time which we quote, we will not be held responsible for any loss caused to you by non-delivery. Therefore please provide enough lead-time when placing an order from Alpha Packaging as we cannot be held responsible for disappointment resulting from the delivery time.

In the extremely unlikely event that not all items of your order are received by you, you must inform Alpha Packaging within 24 hours of receipt of the goods, via e-mail to info@alphapackaging.co.uk or via telephone.

Europe or International Deliveries:

At present we are unable to deliver to Europe or internationally using our website, if you would like to order from Alpha Packaging please contact us via telephone or email and we can arrange an order on a quote basis.
