Helping Reduce your plastic usage

We have introduced a great new product to our carrier bag range for 2019 to help reduce the UK's plastic usage. Contact us for a quote on 01235 511500 or email sales@alphapackaging.co.uk

After refining sugar cane the waste product is processed to make alcohol, from that it is made into ethanol which can be made into polymer much like the refining techniques used to make oil based polymer (polythene). The product is carbon neutral and 100% recyclable.

Currently plastic products are being targeted by the government and environmental institutions and we are constantly being asked for viable alternatives. We feel this product is a viable alternative to oil based polythene with green credentials to back it up.

*Made from Sugar Cane.
*Carbon neutral.
*At least 90% degrades within 180 days in the right conditions.
*Can be put in food waste bins or garden composters.
*Takes up less space and light to transport.
*Classified as paper for the packaging waste regulations.
*100% recyclable.
*Organic Polymer.
